First Anniversary - June 2005
Well, this will go out just to the subscribers!
I want to say thank you for your support as I begin the second YEAR of the Tener Family web site.
It is a lot of fun, and some 'hard work' to digest the material, and then try to put it out in an interesting manner.
I am always seeking new material: This year there will be the 'release' of the Mary Frances Tener letters on a disc: about 330 pages of reading, transcriptions of a communications from the lady of Moree to her dear friend Mrs. Cole of Dublin. You can begin to see these around the last week of July!
If you are interested in this material, I'd just like an e-mail from you. . . . . . . .
I am still trying to develop a library of Naturalization papers; wills, and probate files; locations of burials and photographs of head stones. And this year I will continue to doggedly pursue leads toward the "handwritten Family History by Isaac William Tener" dated 1898 - the year of his death.
One other great interest would be copies of the "250 pages of material by Gustav Anjou", of which there were (at least) a few copies. The Tener Blue Book tells us that Hampden E. Tener Jr.'s copies were left to his brother Wilfrid Tener, also of Montclair, NJ. We viewed his Probate File in Newark, NJ, and there is NO MENTION of these documents, nor of any 'family history' papers.
The 'mysteries' continue to build up. Any and all assistance greatly appreciated! There is no end to the things we can build and recapture together. . . . . .
I have thoroughly enjoyed this first year, and hope to continue to add to the body of material on the family! Thank you for your support - without which this endeavor would surely have folded!
