The Family Again is Dimished

I recently posted an obituary of Thomas E. Tener, the son of the Thomas E. Tener on page 72, who had passed away in October 2006.

The daughter of the just noted Thomas E. Tener -- from the Isaac William Tener line of descendants, passed away May 16, 2007. She was Linda Tener GREER, 49 years of age.

Her obituary was published in the Amador Ledger Dispatch -- http://www.ledger-dispatchobits.com/classifieds/XcCPViewItem.asp?ID=222635 -- on May 22, 2007. It read:

Linda Greer

June 24, 1957 - May 16, 2007
Linda Greer (Tener) passed away on May 16, 2007, at the young age of 49. She is survived by her husband Daniel Greer, her oldest daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Michael Wardall, her son Daniel Greer Jr., and her triplet daughters, Victoria, Vanessa, and Veronica Greer. Linda was born in Oakland in 1957, and moved to Amador County in her early 20's. She was a devoted mother and wife, and was a friend to everyone. Linda was a fun loving person who enjoyed spending time with her teenage children, going to concerts, spending time in her yard, and fixing up her old car. Linda was a caring and giving person, and will be deeply missed. Services were held at Daneri Mortuary on Tuesday May 22, 2007. Condolences may be offered via e-mail to the family at danerimortuary@sbcglobal.net.

Hers was the only set of triplets that I have come across in the entire history of the Family Tener - at least the known family since 1696!

Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family.
